The Project

Lindsey Plett wanted to launch a boutique event rentals business that specialized in upscale, bespoke pieces. She needed a brand—she had the name, but nothing else. She needed a logo, original artwork, a colour palette, business cards, marketing collatoral, and more.

She also needed an e-commerce enabled website that allowed customers to book items online, set up requests for pickup and drop-off times, set custom buffers for booking to ensure time to check and clean items, and more.

Our Solution

We started with settling on a logo for the new business, White Willow Event Rentals. We set a beautiful colour palette with muted, modern tones that match perfectly with their brand. After deciding to go with a willow branch as the main image in the logo, we spent weeks looking for the perfect graphic. We couldn’t find one—so we created it ourselves. We also drew some additional greenery illustrations to enhance the website and for use on collateral.

Once the branding was done, we took up the website project. We initially collaborated with another designer, and eventually took the project over fully. The final website is build on Squarespace and uses a Booqable plugin that allows the White Willow team to manage their inventory fully, with custom buffers, payments, and more. We researched, implemented and launched the software, and trained the White Willow team to use it.

The Result

The White Willow Event Rentals website launched in late 2024. The advanced filtering allows site visitors to sort rentals by category, or look (such as rustic, romantic, and more). Their website is driving consultations, and they have customers who go online and book without needing to reach out and receive a walk-through of the process!
